Our headquarters is located in Marblehead, MA (just north of Boston).

All of our products are printed and shipped in the USA, either from our Palm Beach, FL, or Danvers, MA facility.

Typically it takes about 5-6 business days for us to turn your boat into a graphic design. This can vary if you have multiple revision requests. Typically it will take 5-10 days during the holiday season.

Once you have approved artwork, it takes 1-2 weeks for us to print your design onto your merchandise orders and ship it directly to you!

Just upload your photo on our digital artwork page and our artists can capture every detail of your vehicle.

Only 1 promotion is valid per order. Codes cannot be combined or used on already discounted products.

Also please note that some discount codes are only valid for Artwork, not Merchandise.

 We require all customers to purchase their digital artwork before placing their merchandise orders.

However, you can proceed placing your merchandise order before you receive your digital artwork back. Just know that we can’t begin printing on it until you approve your design!

Christmas is one of our busiest times of the year!

Our production time during this season typically is 5-10 days.

However, we are working around the clock and if you ordered on or before December 12th with approved artwork, we feel confident your items will be arriving before December 25.

Our artists are pretty good, but there are some guidelines to make sure your photo is acceptable for our artists to work with.

If you submit a photo that won't work, we'll be sure to email you ASAP and work with you to select a new one that meets our criteria.

It takes 5-7 days for our artists to digitally recreate your boat and send you your first proof.

From there, if you request revisions it is typically 2-3 days per revision, depending on complexity.

Please note: during peak holiday times delivery times can vary.

Once you approve your custom digital boat artwork, we will send you PNG, JPG and Ai files of your design and logo.

We also keep these files in our system so if you ever lose them you can just come back and download them again.

Absolutely!

We simply charge $30 per person & pet that our artists create for your custom boat design. If you would like to do this, please make a note in your order notes or email help@thecustomcaptain.com with your request and our team will take care of it!

Yes! We store your design in our system, so you can come back at any time to order more merchandise, just type in your order number and it will pop right up!

When you upload your first boat, just add that item to your cart. Afterwards, you can return to this page and begin working on your 2nd, 3rd or 4th boat!

Absolutely! We email you a proof of your artwork for you to approve or request edits to. We offer unlimited revisions so we'll keep working with you until you're happy with the design.

If you don't have a good photo but want to order, do a google search for your boat make and model.

Download the image that is closest to your boat and use that one!

We can change the color, add some small features, and put your boat name and port beneath the photo to make it yours. Just remember, make sure you like the angle of the photo, because we can't change the angle of the illustration.

As long as you have completed your Digital Boat Artwork you can go ahead and order as many (or few) items as you'd like from our merchandise store.

Absolutely - just give them your order number or email address and they can enter it on our merchandise store and order for themselves. No more wrangling everyone to get their sizes together to place an order!

If you already have approved artwork, our merchandise orders typically arrive within 1-2 weeks of ordering.

Please note, some items do ship separately, so you may recieve a package with only part of your order.

Unfortunately we only can print on the products currently offered in our merchandise store. If you have specific items in mind that we don't carry, you can always take your digital file and use that to be printed locally.

Unfortunately due to the custom nature of our products, we cannot offer refunds for sizing issues. However, each product has a size chart on the website so you can confirm which size is best for you!

Due to the custom nature of the products we produce at Custom Captain, we are unable to offer returns. Your custom products are designed with care and are personal to your boat.

If you're unhappy with your artwork, we do offer unlimited revisions of your file.

Also, if you have any damaged products upon arrival we replace them 100% for free.

Processing and shipping times can vary depending on the product.

You submit your order with approved artwork, production and shipping typically takes between 10-14 days to receive your products!

This processing time allows us to make sure that the items you ordered look great and will last a lifetime. Some items can print and ship quicker, so keep an eye on your email for your tracking number!

We source from 5 different suppliers to find the highest quality boat apparel on the market. Because of this, sometimes your orders may arrive in separate shipments. 

Unfortunately due to the custom nature of our products we cannot offer expedited processing and shipping.

We want to be sure that each item is produced with care, and expediting that process can cause quality issues. That being said, some items will ship quicker than others, so it's not uncommon for some items to arrive within 3-4 days of ordering.

We ship worldwide! However our shipping rates vary by country and shipping promotions do not apply to international shipments.
