2024 has already kicked off to another exciting year here at The Custom Captain. We wrapped up the month of February with our second year attending the Miami International Boat Show as exhibitors!
The Miami boat show is a leading show in the industry for all things boating. From kayaks to super yachts, this show has it all, making it an exciting and highly anticipated event each year. It attracts thousands of visitors who are local and abroad.
The show covers five days and is spread out among 6 locations throughout Miami beach. This year we were able to upgrade our booth size and be part of a larger area of the show at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Our booth was right in the heart of the apparel and marine merchandise section of the show. Below us was the location for all of the power boats on display from manufacturers.
We had an incredible opportunity to chat with customers, manufacturers and other leading businesses in the boating space. We had so many happy customers stop by to say hi, give product feedback and order new merchandise.
We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who came by to tell us about their experiences. We also earned quite a few new customers as well and heard constantly “Yes, I know about you guys! We’ve seen you on social media!” Some individuals even brought their friends to our booth and told them they had to join The Custom Captain Crew.
On Friday of the show we threw a Customer Appreciation Party where attendees were able to stop by for coffee and pastries and have a chance to chat with our Founders Nick and Connor. Returning customers also got to pick out some free Custom Captain gear to take home with them! We loved having so many customers come by to chat with us and give feedback on our newest product samples that we are planning to launch later this year.
Overall it was exciting to be part of such a large industry event and to show up bigger and better than we had the year before. We loved showing off our latest gear, getting our team together, and seeing you!
